Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026 · CacheCow Technologies Inc. · Applies to dha.cachecow.io

1. Who we are

CacheCow Technologies Inc. (“CacheCow”, “we”, “us”) is an Alberta corporation. This policy covers personal information handled through the Digital Homestead Act page at dha.cachecow.io (the “Page”), including the First Twenty-Five pilot application. Our general site at cachecow.io has its own Privacy Policy.

2. Governing law

We are subject to Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”). Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Quebec may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Quebec’s Law 25. We extend reasonable equivalent protections to all visitors regardless of where they live.

3. What we collect

Just visiting the Page. The Page does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising scripts, and does not store anything in your browser. The interactive demo (“The Covenant, Run Live”) runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to us. Our hosting provider necessarily processes your IP address and standard request details (browser type, pages requested) to deliver the Page; we do not use that information to profile you.

Fonts. The Page loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your IP address and browser details, subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

The First Twenty-Five application. The application form does not send anything to our servers. When you choose “Send application”, the Page opens a pre-filled email in your own email program, addressed to hello@cachecow.io. Nothing reaches us unless you send that email. If you do, we receive what the email contains:

Writing to hello@cachecow.io. If you email us directly, we receive the contents of your message and your email address.

4. How we use it

We use application and email information to evaluate pilot applications, to select ranches for spread across regions and operation types, and to reply to you. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not send unsolicited marketing.

5. Service providers and cross-border processing

Under PIPA s. 13.1, we tell you when personal information may be processed outside Alberta or Canada. This Page uses:

Email sent to hello@cachecow.io is handled by our email systems and any provider they rely on.

6. Retention

We keep application emails for up to 12 months from receipt, then delete them, unless you become a pilot member or an ongoing relationship exists, or the law requires us to keep them longer.

7. After you become a member

This policy governs the Page and the application. If you are accepted and tags are installed, the data your animals, operation, and land generate is governed by the Digital Homestead Act covenant and its consent ledger, not by this policy.

8. Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting our Privacy Officer (section 10). We will respond within 30 days, and if we cannot fulfil a request we will tell you why in writing. EEA and UK visitors may also request portability, object to processing, or complain to their supervisory authority. Quebec visitors may ask us to cease disseminating personal information.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including TLS in transit and access controls on our email systems. Email is not a perfectly secure channel; please do not include sensitive personal details in your application beyond what the questions ask. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above will reflect any change, and continued use of the Page afterward means you accept the revised policy.
